All about Kaley Cuoco’s symbolic ‘three-piece’ engagement ring from Tom Pelphrey
This love is one of a kind.
Kaley Cuoco announced her engagement to her boyfriend of two years, Tom Pelphrey, on her Instagram Story Wednesday, and along with sharing the happy news, she gave fans a look at her dazzling and rather unique ring.
The “Big Bang Theory” alum, 38, shared a photo of herself with the “Ozark” actor, 42, captioned “amazing weekend” as she showed off an asymmetrical three-stone diamond ring on her left hand.
Cuoco then shared a series of sweet engagement pictures with their 1-year-old daughter, Matilda, and a video of the sparkling style, which featured a large diamond flanked by two smaller yellow diamond stones in different cuts.
The newly engaged star thanked jeweler Shahla Karimi for the “once in a lifetime slice of perfection” in the post.
The jewelry pro — who designed the two ruby rings Taylor Swift wore to the 2024 Super Bowl — also shared some details about the custom design on her own Instagram account.
“Congratulations to these lovely legends! 🤍 Here’s a close-up of the stunning custom cushion three-stone ring we had the pleasure of creating in collaboration with soulmates, Tom and Kaley,” she captioned the post, sharing two shots of the creation.
“The center cushion is beautifully complemented by two perfectly matched light yellow diamond baguette and emerald-cut stones on either side,” Karimi added.
Cuoco weighed in on the post, explaining the inspiration behind the ring was “The 3 pieces . Me ,tom and Tildy” and adding, “thank you for bringing it all together!!”
Their engagement might come as a shock to some fans after Cuoco famously announced she would “never get married again” after her 2021 divorce from Karl Cook; she was previously married to tennis player Ryan Sweeting, whom she divorced in 2015.
“I would love to have a long-lasting relationship or a partnership. But I will never get married again,” she told Glamour in its April 2022 issue. “Absolutely not. You can literally put that on the cover.”
Little did she know she’d meet her future husband that month when they were set up by their manager, with Cuoco telling USA Today, “Tom walked in, and I heard his voice, and I turned around, and it was like my life was over, or just starting. It hit me. It was love at first sight. We were immediately connected.”
