She’s an icon, she’s a legend — she is Naomi Campbell.
On Wednesday, Harper’s Bazaar revealed the supermodel as the star of its 2024 Icons Issue, with the 54 year old rocking a new shorter ‘do on the magazine’s cover.
Rather than rocking her usual waist-length locks, Campbell’s hair is styled in a super short bob with microbangs reminiscent of the bob she wore in the ’90s.
Posing on a rooftop, she shows off the youthful cut for a number of shots, with her new hair complementing a pleated, barrel-leg pair of Alaïa pants styled with a coordinating halter top and a sleek, black Michael Kors dress layered underneath a structured coat.
On Instagram, friends and fans weighed in on the makeover, adding fire emoji and praising the look.
“this hair is insanely good 🔥🔥,” chef Sophia Roe noted.
However, the cropped style is far from Campbell’s only hair change.
Additional photos show the former host of “The Face” slouched in a chair wearing Loewe pants and leaning against a railing in a Ferragamo dress with her strands styled in an elegant smooth cut.
She also lets her leg peek through a sequined Phoebe Philo dress as her voluminous, chin-length curls steal the spotlight.
Of course, Campbell is no stranger to switching up her look.
Aside from being a chameleon throughout her modeling career, she previously wore her hair in a similar bob style in 2007, sporting it on the red carpet at Elton John’s Oscars party and the Walk Of Style Awards.
Campbell’s decades-long modeling career, activism work, and cultural impact is currently being honored with an exhibit at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, titled “Naomi: In Fashion.”
According to Harper’s Bazaar, some of her most memorable outfits are on display, with the Dolce & Gabbana gown she wore while completing community service sitting “next to her Covid-combating outfit from 2020, consisting of a hazmat suit and cashmere Burberry cape.”
The exhibit is running now through April 6, 2025.
