She’s letting her hair down.
Simone Biles showed off her new hairstyle after fans criticized how her hair looked during one of her 2024 Paris Olympics performances.
On Tuesday, the gymnast took to her Instagram Stories to share a smiling selfie of herself in the car with her hair parted down the middle with loose curls.

In the post, the seven-time gold medalist, 27, tagged her hairstylist, Brenton Diallo, who traveled to Paris to make sure Biles’ locks were laid for the day.
Diallo — whose clients include Kimora Lee Simmons, Jeannie Mai and Megan Fox — took to his respective Instagram account to share his selfie with the athlete after her hair appointment.
“What A Magical Morning! Reuniting With The GOAT! My Sis From Another Miss The Gorgeous and Incredibly Gifted @simonebiles,” he captioned the post.
“ILY BB What An Honor It Is To Do Your Hair. We Go Back Now 8 Years Now And I Couldn’t Be More Honored To Come Slay Your Hair When You’re On Top Of The World,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, the superstar called him a “gold medal stylist babyyyyy❤️❤️❤️❤️🥇🥇🥇” and model Gigi Hadid echoed her statement, commenting, “Gold all around ! !”
Biles’ new ‘do comes days after she clapped back at critics who commented negatively about her hair during her July 28 gymnastics performance.
“gonna hold your hand when I say this 💋 next time you wanna comment on a black girls hair. JUST DON’T,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories.
Biles also warned her followers not to comment on how her hair looked on the bus because of how hot it was.
“don’t come for me about my hair. IT WAS DONE but bus has NO AC & it’s like 9,0000 degrees,” she wrote. “oh & a 45 min ride.”
Last month, the nation’s most decorated Olympian got candid about embracing her natural hair during an interview with Elle magazine.
“I used to worry about [my hair being considered] not professional,” she shared. “But I’m not embarrassed about it anymore.”
Now that her competition is over — earning three gold medals and one silver at this year’s Games — we’re sure she’ll slay the closing ceremony on Aug. 11.
