Gracie Abrams and Paul Mescal are keeping things casual — for now.
The rumored couple has been spotted in London on multiple occasions but a source told People Monday that things are still new between the two.
“They’ve been hooking up and it’s still early stages,” the insider told the outlet.
Reps for both Abrams and Mescal did not immediately reply to Page Six’s request for comment.
The “Normal People” star, 28, and the “Close to You” singer, 24, first sparked romance rumors in June after they were spotted on a dinner date at BRAT Restaurant in London.
In photos obtained by TMZ, the two chatted while sitting at a small table near a window.
While sharing some appetizers, the actor showed some subtle PDA by leaning in to touch the singer’s face.
The duo added more fuel to the fire after they were spotted holding hands in the British capital over the weekend, per photos obtained by the Daily Mail.
An onlooker told the outlet they put on a “loved-up display” and were “kissing a lot” during the outing.
The eyewitness claimed the rumored couple wasn’t “shy” about their feelings for each other while walking around London’s Mayfair area.
However, Mescal seemingly tried to stay under the radar during the low-key date, wearing a baseball hat and sunglasses along with his signature short shorts and a T-shirt.
Abrams, for her part, looked casual in loose black pants and a white tank top.
Later that night, the duo attended All Points East music festival in London’s Victoria Park, where they watched Mitski’s set.
Abrams, the daughter of filmmaker J.J. Abrams, hasn’t publicly dated anyone since her relationship with songwriter Blake Slatkin ended in 2022. The pair were together on and off for five years before their split.
Meanwhile, Mescal began dating singer Phoebe Bridgers in 2020. Despite engagement rumors, the pair split sometime in 2022.
The “Gladiator” star prefers to keep his relationships private and never revealed why they split.
