‘Love Island USA’ star Kendall Washington addresses ‘unfortunate’ private video leak after finale
Kendall Washington is addressing a “private” video that leaked online while he was in Fiji filming “Love Island USA” Season 6.
After Sunday night’s finale — during which Washington and his partner, Nicole Jacky, came in fourth place — the contestants got their phones back.
Washington then took to his Instagram Story Monday to write, “What a way to get my phone back y’all 😅.”
“I just want to address the content that came out from my past,” he explained to his followers.
“That was something I shared to someone in confidence and trust. It’s unfortunate that it’s no longer private but it is what it is.”
The Dallas resident, 27, went on to say, “I want to thank you all for the calls/texts to support me during this time.”
Washington concluded his message by expressing gratitude for his “experience” on the dating competition show, adding, “I love you all for tuning in to watch my journey.”

Despite the viral footage, which showed the medical sales rep on a bed sans clothes, he is “excited for what’s next ❤️.”
Jacky, for her part, has not addressed the situation.
Over the past six weeks, cameras rolled as the 26-year-old Sacramento resident — who entered the villa as a bombshell — and Washington formed a romantic connection.
Though their connection was tested via Jacky’s brief interest in Miguel Harichi, she and Washington found their way back to each other.
Washington admitted on Sunday’s finale that he knew he loved Jacky after he came back from Casa Amor to find that she had chosen to wait for him and not couple up with one of the new guys.
During their final date, he dropped the L-word, but the brunette beauty didn’t confess that she was “falling in love” with him until just before the winning couple — Kordell Beckham and Serena Page — was announced.
In second place was Harichi and Leah Kateb, while JaNa Craig and Kenneth “Kenny” Rodriguez came in third.
