Simone Biles grabs dinner with husband Jonathan Owens after wearing a Packers-themed jacket to his Bears game
Simone Biles grabbed dinner with her husband, Jonathan Owens, after she caught flak for wearing a Green Bay Packers jacket to his Chicago Bears game Saturday.
After Owens and his teammates defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in a preseason game at Soldier Field in Chicago, he and the Olympic gymnast enjoyed dinner with friends and family at Maple & Ash.
Biles shared a snap of her and the NFL star posing together as she held up a menu that read: “OLYMPIC F*@KING CHAMPION.”
In another post, she and Owens — who tied the knot in April 2023 — raised their glasses as they shared a toast with the rest of the table to celebrate both of their recent wins.
Earlier that day, Biles, 27, was slammed for sporting a Packers-themed jacket of her husband’s moments with the team to watch him play for his new team — who happen to be rivals of the Packers.
The jacket was decorated with several black-and-white action shots of Owens, 29, during his time with the team last season and had a giant Packers logo on the shoulder area.
“It’s ridiculously unaware of your surroundings and insulting to her husband,” tweeted one fan.
“With all due respect, Simone Biles gotta throw that jacket in the trash ASAP. How did she get in with that?” added another.
Sports reporter Chase Daniel tweeted that though Biles was “obviously supporting her husband,” it’s “still one of the oldest rivalries in all of football.”

The seven-time gold medalist has not publicly responded to the backlash.
During Owens’ preseason game, Biles also wore a protective boot after suffering a calf injury last month during the 2024 Paris Olympic qualifying warmups.
Despite the injury, the gymnast went on to dominate the Olympic Games, winning three gold medals and one silver medal. The wins made Biles the most decorated gymnast of all time.
Earlier this month, Biles admitted that she had been running on fumes by the end of the Olympics.
“I am really tired,” she said in a TikTok video.
“I feel like my body is slowly starting to shut down, like, it’s ready to be done.”
